RK x Schecter Guitars Collab
We are excited to announce our collaboration with Schecter Guitar Research on a custom snare drum build celebrating their 50th anniversary.
For 50 years, Schecter Guitar Research has pushed the limits of craftsmanship, innovation, and tone—building instruments trusted by players who demand more from their sound.
To complement their 50th Anniversary guitars, we built four limited edition snare drums.
Each drum was hand-built from 180 individual pieces of wood and features a striking maple, walnut, and padauk center stripe inspired by the guitars’ thru-neck construction. The drums are finished with black chrome lugs and hoops, gold tension rods to match the guitars’ hardware, and each includes an authentic Schecter USA neck plate.
The first snare is crafted from swamp ash and maple featuring the signature maple, walnut, and padauk center stripe and the limited-edition “0 of 50” USA neck plate.
The three other snares incorporate wenge neck blanks directly from the Schecter factory, paired with either maple or walnut with the signature maple, walnut, and padauk center stripe.
Together they create a versatile tonal palette that reflects 50 years of sonic innovation and craftsmanship.
